Being within walking distance of the Mt. Tamborine Golf Course may not be the main reason you will want to stay in “Grand View Lodge”, but then again, if you are a keen golfer it might be just the perfect place to stay and play. If you are planning a larger family get-together or want to be just part of a fun group spending time on the greens, then this exciting air conditioned lodge with unbelievable views is positioned right next door to one of our other Holiday Houses - “Holiday Haven” - and only a short walk away from another two - “Point Of View” & “Leurella Views”.

“Grand View Lodge” was designed by and built for a now retired Brisbane architect as a place for the grown family to come to for short and longer breaks away from the pressures and stresses of modern life in the city. The rear of the land enjoys the ideal north-easterly aspect as well as the massive panoramic Gold Coast, Hinterland and Ocean views. The house has been designed to take full advantage of those features while maintaining excellent privacy from the street. It has also been designed with disabilities in mind with easy access for a wheelchair as well as a wide open floor plan for full mobility on the main level, although it does not have all the extra features like handrails to make it fully wheelchair compliant.

When you step up to the front door, the first thing you see is the views as you can look right across the living room and out over the covered back deck through the glass balustrades and ever onward to where the sky meets the sea. But that is only a small part of the view! Once inside you see the full grand panorama out through what is essentially a rear wall of glass with additional angles of glass to take in the views further to the north. And it is indeed one mighty vista available for your personal pleasure 24 hours of the day. Dramatic sunrises every morning are matched by glorious full moon rises and a vast stretch of sparkling lights at night that finally switch off at dawn. And, if you are lucky, you will get to watch one of those power packed thunderstorms out to sea that beats anything that man created fireworks can do.

Everything for relaxation and enjoyment is laid on ready for you at “Grand View Lodge” including the ducted air conditioning and a great kitchen replete with all mod. cons. No money was spared to make this a very comfortable and practical place to spend a restful time, so you can rest assured that you will love staying here and be thinking about repeat bookings before you have even packed up to go back to home.
