This idyllic mountain retreat is completely hidden away at the end of a long tree lined lane & on through it’s own picturesque private driveway on a 10 acre avocado farm. The low set colonial style sandstone brick & timber home is no old farm house! This is a superb modern home with 5 large bedrooms, 2 delightful bathrooms and an ensuite to the main bedroom, 2 big living areas & excellent kitchen plus inviting outdoor living areas. Just ask over a few friends & wheel out the BBQ.

The home is set in beautiful open gardens with expansive lawns, shrubs, trees & flowers. The outlook is incredibly peaceful with the most restful outlook out over the gardens & across a well mown field to the tree line beyond. When you stay in “Idealia Farm” the loudest noise you will usually hear is the song of the birds in the trees. You may sometimes hear the distant sound of a tractor on one of the invisible surrounding acreages.

“Idealia Farm” will delight brides with its perfect surroundings for pre & post wedding photos. In fact, you could call in the celebrant & get married here without ever having to get inside a car. There’s ample space to have close family & friends for a little party afterwards. The addition of some happy human noise will go unnoticed here. Children are also welcome & will love the beautiful open space where they can run, play & scream to burn off energy during the day.

This hidden oasis is handy to a number of popular eating places including The Polish Gallery, Heritage Winery & Brunelli’s Restaurant. It is close enough to the Showground that you can walk up the long lane & down Main Western Road to the markets if you book in for the second weekend of the month.
