Tamborine Mountain Bed & Breakfast was purpose built and established in 1994. It was one of the early starters in what is now a thriving accommodation business on Tamborine Mountain. The property is composed of 2 separate buildings in matching style with the 4 guest suites in the building closest to the entry and the grand residence with its magnificent verandahs and decks located where the panoramic views of the Gold Coast from The Bay Islands down to Tweed Heads are simply unbelievable.

The uniquely designed facility was master built by a highly respected local craftsman using rough edged hardwood timber slabs with solid timber hardwood floors. Many antique items found their way into the building and decor including lovely timberlight windows with coloured glass panels and a feature wall area of rustic timbers from the old Wollomombi River Bridge on the New England Highway in NSW. The well worn bridge sign is positioned above the door that divides the common areas from the private area in the residence building. A huge double sided stone fireplace with massive rough log mantle and fish tank insert holds a 2-way slow combustion wood fire that warms and adds romance to both the private and common areas in winter.

Each guest suite has its own private entrance via an inviting front deck equipped with outdoor table and chairs. The suites have been individually decorated with different themes and include ensuite bathroom, wardrobe space, easy chairs and casual tables plus bar fridge and coffee and tea making facilities. The all timber lined suite has a king sized bed while the other 3 have Queen sized beds and there is an additional single bed in one suite. Guests look out onto stunning tropical gardens and an an amazing man made water feature that starts with a large fish pond that flows down to gurgle along between exotic plants over rocks and mini boulders like a natural little brook.

The main residence is divided into a communal living area which includes the reception office, indoor dining and sitting areas, an extra bathroom and the outstanding full commercial kitchen plus a very spacious private 1 bedroom residence. The two buildings are joined together by elevated covered walkways that skim over the gardens. There are huge areas of verandah with zip down clear cafe blinds wrapping around the main entrance to the residence giving ample space for guests to dine outdoors and simply gather to chatter plus a very large open deck on the eastern side overlooking the massive views. The private master suite has its own deck as has the extra suite which can function as a private office on the lower level.

The property is well fenced and includes a private fenced and well landscaped back garden which is ideal for owners with a dog. The driveway and all parking spaces are full bitumen and external covered stairs near the front door of the residence give easy access to the parking area, enclosed storage and additional suite underneath the house.

Tamborine Mountain Bed & Breakfast is located in a very quiet area of OLD Eagle Heights within walking distance of the local shops and National Parks. It has excellent PR materials including a web site with easy booking button and has strong forward bookings with many returning regular guests.
