“Palm Cottage” is situated in a lovely peaceful little street with a closed gate at the Alpine Terrace end that minimises through traffic and turns it into a very quiet and pretty family area. The area is ideal for people who want to take leisurely walks through some of the loveliest rainforest spots and tree lined streets in the area and it is just an easy walk to St. Bernards Hotel for lunch any day you feel like. It is also reasonably handy to the golf course and club house for people who want a little quiet time on the greens.

This cottage has a special Mountain ambience and relaxed feeling that would suggest that guests here could enjoy a real holiday, whether they are a family together or just a couple wanting to unwind in comfort while enjoying the opportunity to dip in an inviting pool right in the back garden. When the sun drops and evening closes in, just the flick of a switch or two, turns the garden and paved pool area into a magically lit tropical wonderland where summer evening swims seem the best possible thing to do.

Both the front and back verandahs invite relaxation, indeed they suggest that once you settle down there you might forget to move for some considerable time! The back garden is just a lush tropical wonderland with huge palms and dense boundary fence plantings as well as open paved sunny spots so you always have the choice of sunshine or shade. The view into the back garden from the verandah is quite enchanting and just totally soothing while you will hear bird song any time you like to listen in this very treed area.

The air conditioned indoor areas are clean and fresh with comfortable furnishings and all the most important items you will need for an enjoyable stay. Wood is stack ready by the front door just in case you feel like a romantic fire in the big pot belly heater and that long tub invites you to indulge in a big soak with your favourite relaxing aromas.
