kitchenFor many people a break means getting right away from city or suburban life to a spot where you can feel as though you have stepped back in time. Coleman Square is one of those dear old original streets in North Tamborine with an eclectic mix of older & newer homes surrounded by lots of trees. “Coleman Cottage” is one of the middle aged low set homes that has been totally refurbished very recently and transformed into a modern, tastefully decorated cottage with excellent new kitchen and gleaming all new bathroom. Every inch of this home has had the magic wand swept over it to create a feeling of space & style. The original fireplace (not in use) has been retained as a feature and somehow seems to blend in with the new recessed ceiling lighting.

The gardens are simply delightful with so many original trees & shrubs plus renewed garden beds for colour & contrast. Huge Jacarandahs with staghorn & elkhorn ferns attached arch over the driveway. There is a sunny north facing terrace here as well as a traditional brick BBQ for wood fired steaks and a 4 person outdoor setting.

Probably the best feature here is that you are in a quiet little street within just a couple of minutes walk of Main Street with its cafes, restaurants & shopping facilities. You can even walk to Clancy’s Irish Pub. Just bring along a torch to guide your way back home at night. A longer walk will take you out along Knoll Road to the picnic area & walking tracks in The Knoll National Park. “Coleman Cottage” is also close to a couple of our other Holiday Homes in North Tamborine for larger groups who want to be together as well as being handy to the most popular wedding venues
