On a fine day, and at night, the views from this home are ever changing and range over something like 180 degrees from where the sun rises out of the ocean right around almost to sunset and in between they sweep down the entire length of the Gold Coast. Yet that description alone, does not give full credit to the grandeur and variety of the panorama which is ever changing with the passing hours and the nature of the weather at any given time. We have purposely chosen 3 different view photos, each taken from the rear verandah on different days and at different times to try to illustrate some of the endless variety. When the summer evening storms rage over the Border Ranges and out to sea, you really do have grandstand seats for one of nature’s great light shows and then the Gold Coast lights will seem tame.

Don’t let the street facade deter you from stepping inside this home. The home has its back turned to the street and is totally focused to the rear so that the views become a backdrop to every waking moment whether you are in the kitchen, the living room or the master suite. There is a lot to see beyond the discreet front door of this incredibly practical and appealing home. The living area is huge and wide open with a marvellous big Tasmanian Oak kitchen that seems to just snuggle into what looks like a tiny corner. This kitchen has all the items that any hostess could possibly desire including a full ducted exhaust fan, eye-level dishwasher, 5 burner gas cook top with wok burner, massive work bench space, long high return breakfast bar for some privacy and even a spot for the bar fridge. Those softly glowing polished Rose Gum floors flow throughout the house, except for the bathrooms and laundry which are beautifully tiled, as do the 9 foot insulated ceilings with their decorative cornices. The extra large master suite also opens out directly on to the verandah through yet another wide set of glass doors and you can pull back the drapes, sit up in bed and enjoy some great views. There is enough built-in wardrobe space here to store all the clothes a dedicated fashionista could possibly acquire and still leave a decent amount of space for her spouse’s clothing too. The ensuite is spacious and beautifully tiled with classy modern fittings in exactly the same style as the main bathroom and the luxuriously large powder room.

Every last detail both inside and outside of the home has been finished to perfection. As noted above, the garage could easily convert to further living space and there is already a set of sliding glass doors that open out from the rear of the garage to where a ground level patio could be developed. There is also space in front of the current garage to add in another double garage if desired. Oh! I almost forgot to mention that this home has no rear neighbour. It backs down to a wide Environmental Corridor that falls away quite steeply from the back boundary.
