It is many years since Maz set out to create a unique Mountain resort down by Curtis Falls hidden behind luxuriant rainforest on 2 acres of beauty. Along the way Maz has created the entire resort & gardens along with all the PR that makes for success. Now Maz has finally decided to “slow down” just a little and retire. New owners can simply step into a fully operational resort with forward bookings & an excellent reputation for comfort & first class service.

The property consists of a double storey 3 bedroom ensuite owners’ residence with huge semi open plan lounge & dining, commercial standard kitchen & laundry. It encompasses delightful front verandahs facing the morning sunshine plus 4 luxury guest suites & 4 individual private cottages. All buildings face north & look out over the open lawns & gardens to the luxuriant rainforest that is preserved within National Park & provides exquisite privacy to the whole area. There is also a very large workshop located by the big parking area. A private driveway through the gardens gives easy access to the cottages.

Each guest suite is individually themed in musical style and is equipped with four poster bed, TV, DVD & CD player, wood burning fire & delightful ensuite bathroom with 2 person spa bath. The 4 cottages are similarly themed & are all air conditioned as well as being equipped with wood burning fire and a 2 person spa & separate shower recess. They also include kitchenette, 2 person dining setting, comfy couch & either a piano or pianola as well TV, DVD & CD player.

The grounds are simply delightful with many flowering & colourful plants, large wisterias & open lawns framed against the rainforest backdrop. There is no need to take a car if you want to go walking in the rainforest of Joalah National Park or nip down to Curtis Falls for lunch. The galleries & eateries of Gallery Walk are just a reasonable walk away too. There is a rainforest fringed swimming pool which can be shared with guests or retained for the owners’ private usage.

Tariff for a 2 night weekend in one of the cottages is $459 with a gourmet breakfast delivered to the door. The suites are let at $349 per 2 night weekend inclusive of gourmet breakfast. Mid-week tariffs also apply.
