Liz Angell

Liz Angell, a fully licensed real estate agent, joined the Lane Team in January 2006. Liz came to Lane Realty after 20 years of experience in rental management and aspects of agency management on the Gold Coast. In the years immediately prior to 2006, Liz had worked on the Coast while commuting from Tamborine Mountain. Lane Realty owner Helen South had know Liz for many years as they had been on the REIQ Gold Coast Branch executive committee together for a number of years and of course, Lane Realty help Liz and family buy their home here.

At the time when Liz joined Lane Realty, neither could foresee that within 2 months Liz would be thrown into running the whole office while Helen would be fighting for long months with a debilitating back problem. Somehow Liz rose to the occasion and managed to cope with all the daily trivia that running an office entails as well as reorganising our rental management system. Since then, Liz has proved her incredible versatility by diving head first into whichever role might be needed at any particular time, including sales.

In 2008 when our madly efficient dynamo Marion Doecke, who had done so much to grow and streamline the Holiday Rental Management, felt that the demands of a young family were getting too much and that it was time for a less out in the marketplace position, she and Liz Angell effectively swapped roles. Liz took over the Holiday Rentals while Marion moved over to the accounts management.

Now Liz is well settled into the Holiday Rental system and looking after a constant flow of guests coming to Mt. Tamborine for R&R, family gatherings and weddings too. Liz has also been devoting time to growing our portfolio of properties available and has added some fabulous new properties over recent months.

Liz is able to assist our holiday guests in so many and unexpected ways. She includes helping to arrange bookings and facilities for a large Hindu wedding here among her best achievements. Armed with her Blackberry, this lady stands ready willing and able to ensure you have a great time when you stay in one of Lane Realty’s holiday homes.
